FORT SMITH, Ark. – 
Holli Lindley and 
Caitlin Kobiske each dropped 20 points and Southeastern mounted a fourth-quarter rally, but was unable to complete the comeback in a 91-82 loss on Saturday afternoon to Arkansas-Fort Smith in Fort Smith, Ark.
 
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 3-3 overall on the year heading into an 11-day break before opening Great American Conference play versus Henderson State on Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
Lindley led all scorers in the contest, putting up 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting, hitting a trio of threes and going 5-for-5 at the free throw line.
 
Kobiske was right behind her with 20 points, hitting 8-of-20 from the field and 4-of-4 at the line.
 
Abbie Barr would sink three threes and finish with 11, while 
Kenzli Warden adding nine points.
 
Kaydrin Scott chipped in eight point off the bench, while Bri Wierelman added seven.
 
Kobiske nearly posted a double-double, finishing with nine rebounds, with Wietelman picking up seven, and 
Stevie Stinchcomb following with six.
 
Stinchcomb would also hand out a team-high four assists, while Lindley grabbed three steals on defense.
 
UAFS would jump out early with a 6-1 run, but the Storm would answer with a 9-2 run capped by a Barr three to take a 0-8 lead by the 3:35 mark of the first quarter.
 
SE would retain the lead at 12-10, but the Lions would score the final four points of the quarter to lead 16-14 after one period.
 
UAFS would jump out to a six-point led before using a 20-5 run to mount a 21-point lead before the Storm would respond, cutting the deficit to 45-29 at the half with a Warden three providing the final points of the quarter for SE.
 
Southeastern would narrow the deficit to 12 points early in the third on a Kobiske bucket, but the Lions would answer and push out to their largest lead of the day at 71-47 with 2:17 to play in the third frame before the Storm chipped that to a 73-51 deficit heading to the fourth quarter.
 
SE would pen t he fourth looking to make a comeback, using a 9-0 run capped by a 
Connie Hughes layup to close the gap to 73-60over the first 2:10 of the final quarter.
 
The Storm would continue to chip away, closing to within single digits on a Kobiske jumper with 2:42 to play.
 
SE would get as close at 86-81 on a Lindley three with 32 seconds to play, but UAFS would finish 5-of-6 at the free throw line to hold off the Storm with the final score 91-81.
