DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State returns to Bloomer Sullivan Arena looking to bounce back against Northwestern Oklahoma State on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Cold shooting in the second half proved the difference maker for Southeastern's contest at Oklahoma Baptist, as the Savage Storm were outscored 31-58 in the final 20 minutes in the 97-66 defeat versus the Bison. The defeat drops the blue and gold to 1-2 in Great American Conference play and 3-6 overall.
Landon Condiff paced the scoring against OBU with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting and chipped in four rebounds. The Gainesville, Texas native recorded his second straight double-digit game and sixth of the season, as he ranks second on the team in scoring with 12.0 points per game and is averaging 2.8 triples per game after making three versus the Bison.
Robert Briley followed with 12 points in the defeat and moved into double-figure scoring for the year, averaging 10.1 points per game.
Despite being held to 66 points, Southeastern remains the third-highest-scoring team in the conference with 83.0 points per game. However, the Storm have struggled to slow opposing offenses at times, ranking 12
th in scoring defense as they give up 84.0 points per game. Through nine games, SE is shooting at a 47.6 percent (283-596) clip from the field and 39.0 percent (90-231) from the three-point line.
Southeastern has been on the winning side as of recent versus Northwestern Oklahoma State, having won six straight and 13 of the last 15 meetings. SE will look to make seven in a row against the Rangers going into the 54
th game in the series that dates back to 1985. After doing the double over NWOSU last season, the Storm leads the all-time series 28-25.
PREVIEWING NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE
Like SE, Northwestern Oklahoma State (4-5, 1-2) is looking to bounce back after dropping a home conference game to Southern Nazarene 77-60. The Rangers opened GAC play with 89-75 against Arkansas Tech but have since dropped two straight league games, including a 91-70 defeat to Harding.
Max Alexander and Camron McDowell lead the scoring efforts for the Rangers with 23.3 points per game and are tied for second in scoring in the GAC. McDowell was named GAC Player of the Week after the first week of conference play, having totaled 50 points for the week, including 41 in the win against Arkansas Tech. McDowell is converting 50.4 percent from the field and leads the team with 23 triples on a 40.4 percent clip.
NWOSU enters Monday's contest as the best free-throw shooting team in the GAC, converting 82.7 percent from the foul line and have knocked down a league-best 163 shots. The Rangers rank sixth in scoring with 80.6 points per game and are tenth in rebounding with 32.1 boards an outing.
