DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern athletics is excited to host Choctaw Nation Night Out on Thursday, Dec. 5 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Savage Storm basketball doubleheader against Henderson State in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Any Choctaw nation/casino employee with a valid tribal ID, work ID, and anyone with a CDIB card will receive free admission to the game that night.

To redeem tickets, they will need to present their ID at the ticket booth outside of the Arena.

SE is slated to honor and recognize various Choctaw citizens and groups throughout the night. Both teams will represent Choctaw culture by wearing alternate jerseys with the words "kucha okpulo" displayed on the front of the jersey. This phrase means Savage Storm in the Choctaw language.
Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant will be the game sponsor and will have giveaways during the halftime of the women's game. During the men's halftime, there will be a special performance by dancers from the Choctaw Cultural Center.
In addition, the anthem prior to the contests that night will be presented in the Choctaw language.
