WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southeastern would take a 2-0 lead to the halfway point of the fifth inning, but would allow nine unanswered runs over the second half of Friday's contest in a 92 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday afternoon in Weatherford, Okla.

Damon Burroughs put together a 3-for-4 outing to lead the way, while
Yanluis Ortiz,
Reid Rice, and
Antonio Crews each added hits.

Wesley Mitchell would each drive in a run.

Cameron Hauch got the start and tossed 6.0 innings in the loss, allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts.

Dylan Turner was tagged for four runs on two hits in an inning of relief before
Coby Langford came on and tossed an inning and allowed two runs on two hits.

Mitchell would bring home the first run of the game on a sac fly in the top of the first which plated Ortiz.

Hill would follow when he reached on a fielder's choice which drove in Burroughs to take a 2-0 lead midway through the fifth inning.

SWOSU would answer with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead and would add one more in the seventh and five in the eighth to pull away to the 9-2 final score.
