DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern pitching struggled on Saturday afternoon as the Savage Storm dropped both ends of a doubleheader versus Ouachita Baptist, falling 12-2 in game one and 11-3 in game two at Mike Metheny Field.
 
The losses drop SE to 9-20 overall on the season and 2-16 in Great American Conference play.
 
Reid Rice led the way with a three-hit performance, while 
Cache Stone added two hits, one a home run, and 
Matt Miles connected on two also.
 
Jake Miller and 
Cam Wheeler each logged one hit.
 
Stone and Wheeler would each drive in a run.
 
Cameron Hauch got the start and took the loss after allowing four runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts over two innings.
 
Charlie Deeds followed with 2.2 innings of work, allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeout.
 
Hayde Alexander followed with 2.1 innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on two hits with two strikeouts before 
Coby Langford came on to finish the contest with two innings pitched and allowing four runs on four hits.
 
OBU would put up four runs in the top of the second, needing jut a pair of hits with three walks and a hit batsman.
 
The Tigers tacked on two more in the fifth on a two-run homer to left, taking a 6-0 lead.
 
OBU followed with a run in the sixth and another in the seventh before a two-run homer in the top of the eighth pushed the Tigers to a 10-0 lead.
 
Southeastern would stave off an early end to the game with a Stone solo homer and an RBI double by Wheeler to trim the deficit to 10-2.
 
OBU added a two-run double in the top of the ninth to puah the lead to 12-2, and that would hold up as the final tally.
 
In the finale, Miles would put the Storm on the board with a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning.
 
The lead would not last long though as the Tigers put up eight runs in the top of the second to open up an 8-3 lead.
 
OBU would tack on a two-run homer in the fourth and an RBI single in the sixth to push the final score to 11-3.
 
Miles and Wheeler each logged two hits, with Miles connecting on a homer, while 
John David Muse added one hit.
 
Miles drove in all three runs for the Storm.
 
Jackson Sioson got the start and took the loss after allowing 10 runs on 12 hits over 3.1 innings with four strikeouts.
 
Michael Minaya followed with 2.2 innings and allowed one unearned run on two hits with one strikeout.
 
Colby Kroutil tossed the final inning, allowing two hits while striking out one.
