ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Southeastern closed out a series victory on Sunday afternoon by picking up a 5-2 win over Ouachita Baptist in the rubber-match in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The teams split on Saturday, and Sunday's win lifts the Savage Storm to 18-14 overall on the season and 10-7 in Great American Conference play.

Kamryn Rackley each collected two hits to lead the SE offense.

Sammi Dutton each logged a hit, with Harlow making hers a home run.

Emily Simmons got the start and picked up the win after tossing a complete game and allowing two runs on five hits with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

The Tigers would jump out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a two-run single.

Beard would drive in a run in the second on an RBI fielder's choice to cut the deficit in half, and an inning later Harlow would lead off the third with a solo homer to tie the game 2-2.

Ore would give the Storm its first lead with an Rbi single in the top pf the fourth.

Southeastern would tack on a pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning on back-to-back RBI singles from Olivares and Sands, taking a 5-2 lead which would hold up as the final.
