DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern was unable to carry over momentum from its game one victory over Harding, dropping game one 3-0 on Saturday afternoon before ending up on the wrong end of a 9-3 score in the series finale at the Southeastern Softball Field.
 
The Savage Storm dip to 23-21 overall and 15-11 in Great American Conference play.
 
In game one, 
Gracie Ore, 
Sage Harlow, and 
Ananda Garrison each collected a hit.
 
Emily Simmons got the start and took the loss after tossing a complete game and allowing three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts.
 
HU would take the lead with a two-run double in the first inning and pushed its lead to 3-0 in the seventh on an RBI single, with that holding as the final score.
 
In the finale, Harlow, Garrison, and 
Bailey Beard each logged two hits, while Ore, 
Sabetha Sands, and Sammi Sutton added one apiece.
 
Beard would drive in a pair of runs, while Dutton added one RBI.
 
Reese Taylor got the start and took the loss after allowing six runs, four of them unearned, on five hits in 4.2 innings of work.
 
Simmons would followed and allow three runs on six hits in 1.1 innings before 
Alyson Malone stepped in to finish the game, allowing a hit in one inning of work.
 
Harding would take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but a Sutton RBI triple in the second would tie the game at 1-1.
 
Beard would add her own triple, this one driving in two runs in the third to put the Storm in front 3-1.
 
However, HU would put up five runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to pull ahead and take the contest 9-3.
