DURANT, Okla. – Errors plagued Southeastern in a 13-5 game one loss while 16 stranded runners would doom the Savage Storm in a 6-5 extra-inning loss in the series finale against Arkansas Tech on Monday afternoon at Mike Metheny Field.

The losses drop SE to 15-31 overall on the season and 5-25 in Great American Conference.

In Monday's opener,
Reid Rice would homer twice on his way to three hits while driving in three tuns to lead the offense.
Â
Wesley Mitchell would collect two hits, a homer and a double to finish with two RBI, while
Cache Stone added two hits as well.
Â
Coby Grimsley would pick up a hit.
Â
Dylan Turner got the start and was tagged for four runs on four hits in 1.2 innings with one strikeout.

Hayden Alexander would come in and toss two innings in relief and allowed four runs on six hits with a strikeout.

Brett Tanksley tossed the next 3.1 innings and was tagged for three runs on a hit, while
Michael Minaya threw the final two innings, allowing two unearned runs on two hits.

ATU took the lead in the top of the first with a two-run homer, but the Storm had a response in the bottom half with its own two-run homer off the bat of Mitchell.

The Wonder Boys would bring in two more runs in the top of the second, and again the Storm would answer with a two-run homer in the third, this one from Rice.

ATU followed with four runs in the fourth and three more in the sixth to mount an 11-4 lead.

Rice would tack on his second home run of the game to close the gap to 11-5, but the Wonder Boys would add a pair of unearned runs in the ninth to make the final 13-5.

In the series finale,
Brady Evans and
John David Muse each pounded out three hits, while
Austin Thorp, Mitchell, Stone,
Jake Miller,
Antonio Crews, and
Cameron Cromer each logged a hit.

Mithcell would homer and drive in two runs, while Muse added two RBI as well.

Jackson Sioson got the start and took a no decision after tossing 5.1 innings and allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits with three strikeouts.

Brody Logsdon would come on in relief and toss 3.2 innings and take the loss after allowing one unearned run on four hits.

SE would mount an early lead with a Mitchell two-run homer in the first innings and a Muse RBI single in the second to lead 3-0 after two innings.

ATU would pick up a run in the fourth and three in the sixth to take a 4-3 lead, but Muse would drive in a game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh.

The Wonder Boys would bring in the go-ahead run in the ninth on a bases-loaded walk and the Storm would end the game in a 5-4 loss with the tying run on second base.
