MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southeastern falls in the rubber match against No. 9 Southern Arkansas, as the Muleriders take the series finale 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Three different players had hit for the Savage Storm, with
Sage Harlow,
Iliana Olivares and
Susan Edwards recording knocks.
Emily Simmons earned two walks in three plate appearances, while
Bailey Kite got the start in the circle.
Alyson Malone and
Sheyenne Cheek both made relief appearances, combining for 4.0 innings of work.

Southeastern (25-24, 16-13 GAC) turns its attention to the final GAC series of the 2025 season, as the Storm get set to host Ouachita Baptist on April 25 and 26.

After a big day at the plate on Friday, the Storm was limited at the plate by Southern Arkansas, who took a 3-0 lead in the first. SE was held without a hit through three frames, which allowed the Muleriders to extend their gap to 5-0 in the third.

Southeastern had three baserunners reach across the first four innings, with a leadoff walk in the second followed by a double from Harlow and a walk by Simmons in the top half of the fourth. However, SE could not find the breakthrough hit, as the Storm remained scoreless through four frames. The hosts would add one more run in the fourth to win the series.
