FORT SMITH, Ark. – Southeastern Oklahoma State climbs a spot on the team leaderboard during day two, as they sit seventh at 91-over 651 after shooting 46-over 326 in round two.
No. 25 Henderson State remained in first at the end of round two, while Harding made up two spots on the day to move into second at 50-over 610. Arkansas Tech (+57) is in third, followed by Southwestern Oklahoma State (+58) in fourth, and Northwestern Oklahoma State jumped into the top five with a score of 76-over 636.
Karen Kim was the biggest riser, jumping ten spots on the player leaderboard with a 3-over 70 round two. Kim fired in a 2-under front nine with three birdies to set up the strong round and is 14-over 154 after improving on her score.
Carley Button remains in the top 15 individually with a combined score of 13-over 153 following a 7-over 77 round two.
Lucy Handley turned in a 17-over 87 for the day, putting her at 29-over 169 at the end of 36 holes of play. Just behind,
Hope Walthall shot 19-over 89 across the second round, while
Hailey Richard sat one stroke back at 20-over 90. Walthall, after two rounds, is 42-over 182, and Richard has a 36-hole score of 36-over 176.
Southeastern will play the final round of the 2025 GAC Tournament tomorrow morning from the Par 70 Hardscrabble Country Club.
