MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – At the conclusion of round two, Southeastern Oklahoma State places 17
th at the Spring Regional Preview with a 36-hole score of 78-over 654. The Savage Storm shot 38-over 330 in round two, improving on their round score by two strokes.
No. 27 Henderson State jumped a spot on the final day to win the event with a score of 2-under 574, while No. 22 Central Missouri dropped to second at 1-over 577. Arkansas Tech finished third at 13-over Par, and Harding earned a fourth-place finish with a final score of 15-over 591. No. 25 Rogers State and Southwestern Oklahoma round out the top five in a tie for fifth at +23.
Karen Kim ended the day with her best individual round of the event, shooting 5-over 77 to lead to a final score of 12-over 156 to tie for 46
th.
Carley Button (T56th) concluded the event with a 9-over 81 in round two for a combined score of 15-over 159.
Lucy Handley and
Hope Walthall ended the tournament with one stoke between, as Handley shot 26-over 170 and Walthall carded a 27-over 171. Handley turned her best round of the event in the second round, posting an 11-over 83, while Walthall recorded a 15-over 87.
Hailey Richard rounded out the lineup with a 13-over 85 round two to tie for 98
th individually with a score of 28-over 172.
Southeastern now turns its attention to the GAC Tournament, which starts on Monday, Apr. 21, and will conclude on Wednesday, Apr. 23.
