DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will look to bounce back when it heads to the Volunteer State for a Saturday doubleheader. The Savage Storm's first match is at 1 p.m. against Bethel (Tenn.), and later will face Lane College at 3 p.m.

The blue and gold began GAC play last time out, hosting Oklahoma Baptist in a 3-0 defeat.
Gabby Jones led SE in attack, notching ten kills, and
Alexis Williams provided the defense at the net, recording 6.0 total blocks. Both Jones and Williams pace the side in their respective category, as Jones has tallied 98 kills, while Williams has 27.0 total blocks.

Jasmin Dion added another double-double to her tally last time out, recording her fourth of the season against Oklahoma Baptist. The freshman led the side with 29 assists and was second on the team with 15 digs. Dion has made the attack tick on all season, as she leads the team with 265 assists and is averaging 9.14 per set.
Laura Weatherford posted her third consecutive match with double-figure digs against the Bison, and she paces the blue and gold with 4.00 digs per set for 116 total digs this season.
As a team, Southeastern is averaging 12.4 kills per set and attacking at a .198 clip, which rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in the GAC. The Savage Storm also ranks in the top five in blocks (1.90 bps) and assists (11.34 aps), and sixth in digs and points. SE has made its presence felt defensively at the net this season, as they are out-blocking its opponents 55.0 to 41.5 and is averaging 1.9 blocks per set compared to its opponents, who are seeing 1.4 denials a frame. SCOUTING BETHEL
Bethel opened conference play on Thursday and suffered a 3-0 defeat to Cumberland to fall to 3-4 overall on the year. The loss snapped a two-game win streak for the Wildcats, who picked up a 3-0 win over Rust and a 3-2 victory against Brescia. Leading the attack for Bethel is Katie Pennington with 81 kills on a .217 attack percentage, and she is averaging 3.38 kills per set.

SCOUTING LANE
The Dragons are still looking for their first win in 2025, having lost eight straight to open the year 0-8. During Lane's slow start, the Dragons have won just one set over this stretch, during a 3-1 defeat to Union (Tenn.). The side is led by Jadyn Powell and Kyra Gaston in attack with 46 and 41 kills, respectively, while Shaniah Jones quarterbacks the attack with 100 assists.
