SET ONE
Southeastern and Midwestern State were point-for-point through the early exchanges, as the two sides were locked at 7-all. MSU soon began to find separation, but four-straight points by the blue and gold kept the gap close, and the Storm would eventually tie the set 17-17 on a 4-0 run.  SE continued to stay on the heels of the Mustangs, tying the set 18-all and later 21-all, though late momentum for the hosts secured a 25-22 set win for Midwestern State.

SET TWO
The Mustangs opened the scoring and would race out to a 7-3 lead to start the frame. Midwestern State held its four-to-five-point edge through the next exchanges, but the Storm hurried back on a 5-0 burst to cut the lead to one, 14-13. The blue and gold continued to battle, tying the set 17-all with a Williams kill and 19-all after a kill from Jaedyn Newman. However, similar to the opening frame, MSU used a run of scores to close out the set 25-20.

SET THREE
A flurry of points from MSU gave the hosts a 7-3 lead, and later 13-8. Southeastern chained together a pair of bursts of points to get within two, 16-14, and back-to-back kills by Williams and Noelia Rocha would keep it a two-point set, 20-18. MSU replied to the Storm and rattled off five of the final six points to claim the frame 25-19.
