Gabby Jones knocked out 18 kills and
Rylee Jackson added 14 but Southeastern was unable to pick up the win, falling 3-1 on the road in the second game of a back-to-back versus Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 9-11 overall on the season and 4-5 in Great American Conference play.

Jones turned in 18 kills in the effort and added 11 digs to wrap up another double-double.
Â
Jackson posted 14 kills, while
Sophee Dean added seven.
Â
Jasmin Dion turned in 39 assists on the night, adding 12 digs for a double-double as well.

Defensively,
Patience Lewis clocked 27 digs while
Merrick Hammel added 15.

The teams traded points out of the gate before OBU used a 5-1 run to take a 12-7 lead.

The deficit grew to nine points before a Jones kills triggered a 6-0 run capped by a Lewis service ace to close the score to 18-15.

The Tigers maintained that edge, with SE closing to within three points again at 21-18, but Ouachita Baptist scored the final four points to take the set 25-18.

Southeastern fell behind early in set two, trailing by as many as five points.

The Storm clawed back, beginning with a Jackson kill and reeling off a 9-2 run capped by a
Kylee Turner ace to take a 14-12 lead.

Southeastern would push its lead out to 21-16 on a Jones kill, but OBU closed the gap with a 5-1 run to leave the Storm lead at 22-21.

Sophee Dean and Jones would stave off the Tigers and help SE take the set 25-22 to even the match at 1-1.

The teams traded points again to open the third set, playing to an early 4-4 tie.

OBU would edge out to a 16-11 lead before the Storm closed the gap again to 16-13 on a Jackson kill.

The Tigers took the next four points and would ultimately take the set 25-17 to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

The fourth set was even through the first 16 points to a 8-8 before The Storm reeled off four-straight point capped by a Jones kill to take a 12-8 lead.

The lead expanded to 16-10 on a Turner ace and remained at six points out to 18-12.

The Tigers reeled off the next six points to knot the set at 18-18.

The teams traded points before Dion and Jackson posted back-to-back kills to take a 21-19 lead, but OBU answered with a pair of points to tie the game at 21-21.

SE pushed its lead to 23-21 on a Jackson kill and a Hammel ace, but the Tigers again answered with four-straight points to take the set 25-23 and the match 3-1.
