Lockhart Grabs GAC Special Team Weekly Award

DURANT, Okla. – Following his record-setting performance in Southeastern's win over Henderson State on Saturday, Kameron Lockhart has been awarded the Great American Conference Special Teams Player of the Week award.

Lockhart, a sophomore from Frisco, Texas, posted his first career kickoff return for a touchdown, setting a new Southeastern record by going 100 yards for the score.

That 100-yard return matches the GAC and NCAA record for longest kickoff returns and puts him at the top of the conference leaders in kickoff return yardage, averaging 43.9 yards per return on the year.

Lockhart and the Savage Storm will be back in action for senior day on Nov. 7 when it hosts Southern Arkansas at 2 p.m. at Spend life Wisely Stadium in the final home game of the 2026 regular season.
