DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern gets set for its final road trip to the Natural State to face Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas on Thursday and Saturday. The Savage Storm meets the Boll Weevils first on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m. before heading to the Muleriders on Saturday at 3 p.m.

SERIES NOTES
- SE had an eight-game win streak snapped against the Boll Weevils in the first meeting this season. The loss marked the first defeat against UAM since January 2022. The Storm leads the all-time series 20-12, dating back to the first meeting in 1986, and Southeastern is 18-9 versus UAM under head coach Kelly Green.
- The Storm picked up a second-win in a row over SAU earlier this season to make it seven wins in the last ten meetings. The all-time series is now tied 29-29 heading into the 59th contest between the two sides, dating back to the first game in 1984-85.

Southeastern improved to 5-14 overall and 4-9 following a 54-53 win over Henderson State. The Storm had to wait until the very end to secure the win after a buzzer-beater from
Jamal Drewery lifted the blue and gold past HSU to complete the season sweep for the first time in the GAC era. SE currently sits outside the top eight in the conference standings in a four-way tie for ninth with UAM, SAU, and East Central.

The blue and gold enter the week ranked ninth in scoring offense across the league, averaging 70.6 points per game. Helping pace the scoring efforts is
Chandler Dickinson with 13.7 points per game on 44.8 percent shooting from the field and 27.8 percent from the three-point line. Dickinson posted back-to-back double-digit point games last week, scoring 12 versus Ouachita Baptist and 19 in the win over HSU. The Rockwall, Texas native has scored 10 or more points in 13 games this season, and has reached 20 points three times.

Joining Dickinson in the scoring efforts is
Ethan Wilkerson, who ranks second on the team with 12.1 points per game. The sophomore forward is one of the team's most efficient shooters, converting 49.5 percent from the floor with 92 field goals made. Additionally, Wilkerson leads the team in rebounds with 5.6 per game, which ranks 10th in the GAC. As a team, the Storm are ninth in rebounding in the league with 32.1 rebounds per game and have recorded the sixth-most offensive boards with 10.5 per contest. Â

Drewery helps pull the strings for the Storm offense with 4.3 assists per game, which ranks third in the GAC, and is averaging 5.1 points per contest. The Baton Rouge, La. native has totaled 81 assists this season, and is backed by Dickinson in the facilitator role, who has chipped in 46. The Storm have passed around 238 assists through 19 games, and rank sixth as a team with 12.5 assists per game.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO
The Boll Weevils lost back-to-back road games in the Sooner State last week, falling to Southern Nazarene 64-50 and Oklahoma Baptist 70-60. The pair of defeats drops UAM to 4-9 in the conference standings and 8-11 overall. Arkansas-Monticello has one win in its last five games, in a 68-57 victory over rivals Southern Arkansas at home.

UAM features one of the top scorers in the league, as Isaac Jackson ranks fifth in scoring with 14.9 points per game. In his last four games, Jackson has combined for 83 points, including 20 versus SAU and 28 against SNU on 12-14 shooting. At the glass, the Weevils are led by Josh Smith with 6.2 rebounds per game, and he is one of four players averaging double-digit points per game (12.6) on 57.1 percent shooting from the field.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN ARKANSAS
Southern Arkansas (7-12, 49 GAC) has fallen into a four-game losing streak after defeats to Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene. The Muleriders have just two wins in their last ten games, with wins over East Central and Southwestern Oklahoma State at the beginning of January.

SAU's Greg Moore Jr. paces the side in scoring with 13.6 points per game and ranks second for the Muleriders in assists with 52. Helping Moore Jr. facilitate the offense for Southern Arkansas is Troy'eron Ramos, who has 54 assists (2.8 per game) and averages 9.8 points per game. Jair Horton is the team's top rebounder with 5.9 rebounds per game and leads the side with 39 offensive boards and 74 defensive rebounds. Â
