Lorenzo Mitchell rejoined the Southeastern football program in the spring of 2025 as the team's passing game coordinator and recruiting coordinator.
Mitchell is no stranger to Southeastern football, having served on staff for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, staying though the 2023 spring before departing for Missouri S&T.
Â
Over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Mitchell worked with the Miner wide receivers and was the passing game coordinator.
Â
While at MS&T he coached four all-conference wide receivers and helped lift the program’s passing attack from a last place finish in 2022 to finishing third in the league in 2023 and fourth in 2024.
Â
In his two season with the Savage Storm he would work with the teams running backs where he coached a pair of all-conference running backs over two seasons.
Â
Mitchell has worked a variety of jobs in both education and the private sector since completing his playing career at Tusculum after two seasons at Winona State.
Â
He earned an associate's degree at North Dakota State College before picking up a B.A. in Accounting at Winona State in 2016.
Â
Mitchell is married to Southeastern volleyball head coach Nicole Solum-Mitchell and the pair have a daughter, Poppy.
