Sterling Porter joined the Southeastern coaching staff prior to the 2023 season and serves as a defensive assistant.

The Dallas, Texas, native comes to SE after a two-year stop at Garland HS where he worked with the team's linebackers.

Prior to GHS, he spent four seasons as the offensive line coach at South Oak Cliff HS in Dallas, Texas.

He was a four-year starter on the offensive line at Texas College in Tyler, Texas, and earned his bachelor's degree from there in 2017.
