DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will return to Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium for the first time in 10 days and will look to get back in the in column when it hosts Ouachita Baptist at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
The Savage Storm comes into the contest with a 2-21 record overall and a 1-8 mark in Great American Conference play, while the Tigers come to town at 5-14 on the season and 2-6 in league play.
SE will lean on the offensive duo of
Megan Kunkel and
Emily Gentle who are averaging 2.91 and 2.82 kills per set.
Madelynne Cera and
Marina Dias have been splitting the setting duties, with Cera averaging 5.22 assists per set while Dias is at 1.83 aps. Cera is also chipping in 1.07 kps, while Dias is adding 2.13 digs per set.
Taylor Benner has led the back-row defense with 3.51 digs per set, while four others average better than two dps.
At the net,
Jasmine Everage is leading the defense with 52 total blocks on the year with
Natasha Smith right behind at 49. SE ha a 6.5 block advantage over its opponents on the year.
OBU comes to town led by Megan Askew and Abby Pickett who average 2.29 kps and 2.11 kps, respectively.
Savannah White leads the way among setters with 5.21 assists per set, while Allison Frizzell is averaging 5.58 digs per set and Kelley Ballard has turned in 62 total blocks.
