Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. – Southeastern got off to a rough start to its weekend at the Washburn Regional Crossover, falling to Emporia State 3-0 on Friday morning.
The Savage Storm will be back in action at 6:30 pm on Friday when it faces host Washburn.
SE got off to a fair start, falling by a competitive 25-17 score in the first set before dropping set two 25-6 and falling in the clincher 25-12.
Megan Kunkel picked up a team-high eight kills, while
Ariel Sanders was next with four.
Madelynne Cera dished out 12 assists and added one kill along with two digs.
Emily Gentle turned in a team-best 10 digs, while
Taylor Benner added nine.
