DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will return home and set its sight on snapping a four-match losing streak when it hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m. on Sept. 22 in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.
The Savage Storm enter the contest with a 1-9 record overall and an 0-2 mark in Great American Conference play.
The Rangers come to town with an 0-9 record on the season and an 0-1 mark in league play following a 3-0 loss at home to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
SE is coming off a 3-1 road-loss to rival East Central, just the second time since the schools started meeting on the volleyball court.
Emily Gentle is pacing the club on offense with 3.21 kills per set, while
Megan Kunkel is chipping in 2.88 kps.
Madelynne Cera is guiding the offense with 6.65 assists per set, but is also chipping in on the attack with 1.12 kps as well as on defense with 2.82 digs per set.
Taylor Benner carries the defense on the back row with 4.24 digs per set, while four others are averaging more than 2.00 dps.
Natasha Smith leads the attack at the net with 27 blocks on the year, while
Jasmine Everage has chipped in 23.
The Rangers are led on offense by Paola Turibio who is averaging 2.57 kps, while Lacy Hansen and Kaydee Yukawa split the setting duties.
