DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball returned home and to Great American Conference play, doing so with a commanding 3-0 victory over Southern Arkansas on Friday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 9-11 and 3-3 in league play, while the Muleriders slip to 14-8 overall and 4-3 in GAC play.

SE hit .238 or better as a team in each set, winning the first 25-20 and the second 25-19 before running away with the final set, winning 25-15 to clinch the match.

Courtney Miller paced the squad on offense with 12 kills, hitting .435 on 23 attacks, while
Emily Gentle added 10 kills in the effort.

Madelynne Cera turned in a solid offensive effort with 29 assists on the match and nearly completed a double-double with nine kills.

Miller did complete the double-double with a match-high 15 digs, while Gentle added eight digs and
Taylor Benner chipped in six.

Gentle and
Ariel Sanders patrolled the net to the tune of four blocks each as SE collected eight as a team.

The Savage Storm will return to the court on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. when it hosts Arkansas-Monticello in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.
