Box Score SEARCY, Ark. – For the second match in-a-row Southeastern fell behind 2-0, and for the second match it picked up a third-set win, but the Savage Storm was unable to pull off another five-set comeback victory, falling to Harding on Saturday afternoon in Searcy, Ark.
 
The loss dropped SE to 7-7 overall and 2-3 in Great American Conference play.
 
The Storm dropped the first set 25-14 and the second 25-23 before bouncing back with a 25-21 win in the third set.  SE was unable, however, to continue the momentum, falling 25-12 in the fourth set.
 
Emily Gentle paced the club with 13 kills on the match, while 
Megan Kunkel added 12 and 
Ariel Sanders chipped in 10.
 
Madelynne Cera dished out 32 assists and flirted with a triple double by adding nine kills and eight digs.
 
Gentle completed a double-double with 12 digs, while Kunkel was nearly there with nine, with 
Kelsey Zerkel and 
Taylor Benner each adding nine as well.
 
The Storm will step out of GAC play for a trip to the Missouri Southern State Classic in Joplin, Mo., to face a foursome of teams from the MIAA on Oct. 12-13.
