DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will wrap up its 2013 regular season on Nov. 14 when it travels to Weatherford, Okla., to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. in a game that will play a big role in deciding the seeding for both teams heading into next week's Great American Conference tournament.
Â
The Savage Storm come into the finale with a 13-16 record overall and a 7-6 mark in conference play, but are enjoying a three-match GAC winning streak that included the number two team in the league.
Â
The two teams met earlier in the season with the Bulldogs posting a 3-1 win in Durant.
Â
SE and SWOSU have matching league records and are in a three-way tie for fourth that also includes Ouachita Baptist.
Â
Those three teams are one game behind East Central in the standings and all four have one GAC match remaining.
Â
A win over the Bulldogs would ensure SE a seed no worse than fifth, while a loss would lock the Storm into the six seed.

Emily Gentle continues to pace Southeastern on offense to the tune of 3.47 kills per set, while
Megan Kunkel is adding 2.49 and four others are posting at least one per set.
Â
One of those averaging at least one per set is
Madelynne Cera who is dishing out a 8.29 assists per set in addition to 1.43 kps, while on the defensive side of the ball she is averaging 2.11 digs per set and has turned in 32 total blocks.
Â
Taylor Benner has paced the team on the back row with 3.57 digs per set, while five others are averaging more than two per set, and at the net
Ariel Sanders has tallied 70 blocks on the year, while Gentle and
Julia Benford are at 55 each.
Â
SWOSU comes into the matchup 12-19 on the year overall, but are coming off a 3-0 win over Cameron in its last outing.
Â
The Bulldogs are paced by Carly Zak who is averaging 3.50 kills per set, while Joey Collins is not far behind at 3.04.
Â
Breann Whitaker is dishing out a team-high 7.60 assists, while on defense Kaila Lancaster leads the back row with 3.67 digs per set and Alison Cole leads the way at the net with 123 total blocks.
