ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Southeastern ended its three-match road trip to Arkadelphia, Ark., with a 3-1 loss in a non-conference matchup against Ouachita Baptist on Saturday morning.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 12-11 overall on the season heading into an Oct. 21 road contest against Texas A&M-Commerce at 7 p.m. in Commerce, Texas.

Emily Gentle led the offense with 14 kills while hitting .323, while Julia Benford added 10 kills and Megan Kunkel finished with seven.

Alissa Benson led the setters with 19 assists, while Madelynne Cera added 14.

Kunkel led the back row defense with 20 digs, while Gentle completed a double-double with 17 digs.

Benford collected a pair of blocks to led the defense at the net.

SE fell behind 1-0 after a slow start led to a 25-16 loss in the first set.

The Storm evened the score with a 25-21 win in the second set.
