DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will jump headlong back into Great American Conference play on Saturday night when it hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The Savage Storm are 13-11 overall on the year and 6-3 in GAC play, coming off a non-conference win over Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday.

SE has won four of its last five conference matches, including its last matchup which it took 3-2 at Henderson State.

Southeastern is led on the offensive side by a foursome of players averaging two or more kills per set.

That group is paced by
Megan Kunkel who is turning in 2.90 kills per set, followed by Emily gentle at 2.81, then
Julia Benford at 2.38 and
Ariel Sanders at 2.00.

They are being set up by Alissa Benford who leads the setting corps with 8.25 assists per set, while
Madelynne Cera is at 4.57.

On defense
Kelsey Zerkel leads the team with 3.78 digs per set, while Kunkel is next in line at 3.09, while Gentle and
Courtney Miller each have over 2.6 digs per set.

The net defense is led by a trio of blockers with Sanders and Benford each posting 68 blocks on the season, while Gentle is right behind with 67.

NWOSU comes into the matchup with a 13-6 record overall and tied with SE in the GAC standings at 6-3, but is ineligible for the postseason tournament due to its provisional status as a member during its transition to Division II.

The Rangers are led by Ashanti banks on offense with 3.29 kills per set, while Asia Pipkin is right behind at 3.26 per set, while Suka Tafao handles the setting duties with 9.14 assists per set.

Alina Ferro leads the defense with 3.15 digs per set, while Elisa Bentsen had posted 69 blocks on the year.
