SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern bounced back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles play to win five of six singles matches and pick up a 6-3 win over Oklahoma Baptist on Monday evening in Shawnee, Okla.

The win keeps the Savage Storm undefeated, moving to 4-0 on the year heading into a noon matchup on Feb. 27 at McMurry in Abilene, Texas.

Alberto Blesa and
Tiago Ferreira picked up the team's lone doubles win at number two over the duo of Agustin Janssen and Francisco da Silva, 8-0.

Nathan Nelmes and Maritn Bedcarratz dropped a tight 8-6 matchup at number one, while
Petar Popovic and
Billy Haugen were tripped up 8-5 at number three.

The Storm rebounded in singles play with five win, highlighted by a Blesa victory at number one over Marco Carvajal, 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. Carvajal was the NAIA national runner up a season ago and ranked No. 2 in the nation this season.

Ferreira knotted the score at 3-3 with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Dario Macanovic at number three.

Bedcarratz then picked up a 7-6, 6-2 win at number four to put SE in front for good, which was followed by a 7-6, 6-4 win by Popovic at number five and a 6-4, 7-5 win at number six by Chris Carrilo.
