DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball will make its first foray into Arkansas when it heads to Arkadelphia, Ark., for an Oct. 16 match against Henderson State at 6 p.m. and an Oct. 17 matchup with Ouachita Baptist at 1 p.m.

The Savage Storm jump back into conference play with a 4-15 overall record and a 2-5 mark in Great American Conference play and are looking to snap a four-match losing skid.

In its last outing against Dallas Baptist, SE got 12 kills from
Julia Benford and 11 from
Arianna Baker but were unable to overcome tough outings in the first and fourth sets of the match.

On the season
Abby Jameson continues to pace the squad with 3.67 kills per set, while Benford is adding 2.65 and Baker has moved to 1.90.

Alissa Benson is dishing out 9.25 assists per set while also pitching in around the court with 1.07 kills per set, 2.03 digs per set and 34 total blocks.

Defensively at the net Baker has piled up 47 total blocks on the year with Benford at 41 and Benson in third at 34, while three others have reached double-digits.

Charlene Nerio is picking up 4.12 digs per set, with Jameson adding 2.72 an Benson chipping in 2.03.

HSU enters the weekend 1-18 on the year and 0-7 in league play in the midst of a 14-match losing skid that started on Sept. 11.

They are paced offensively by Jessie Jacoby who is putting up 3.33 kills per set, while Brea May is dishing out 6.14 assists per set.

On defense Sydney Skelton is averaging 3.23 digs per set, while at the net Violet Williams has 32 total blocks.

OBU enters the weekend with a 10-6 overall record and is 4-3 in GAC play and has won three of its last four games.

On offense the Tigers rely on Abby Pickett who is averaging 4.08 kills per set, while Stormi Leonard is dishing out 11.41 assists per set.
