DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will aim to end a seven-match losing streak and improve their postseason tournament chances when it hosts a pair of conference rivals, first welcoming Southern Arkansas at 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium, followed by a 1 p.m. matchup with Arkansas-Monticello on Oct. 24 at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend needing a win to improve their Great American Conference tournament chances as they are currently 2-7 in league play and tied for the eighth and final playoff spot.  SE is 4-18 overall on the year.
 
Southeastern is led on offense by Abby Jameson who is sixth in the league in kills with 3.61 kps, while Arianna Baker and Julia Benford are both top-10 in the league in hitting percentage.
 
Alissa Benson's 9.00 assists per set is also good for sixth in the AGC, while she is also adding 2.09 digs per set and 37 total blocks.
 
Charlene Nerio leads the defense in digs with 4.13 per set, while at the net Baker has pulled ahead with 57 total blocks, with Benford second at 44 on the year.
 
SAU comes to town with an 11-12 record overall and a 3-6 mark in league play and has dropped its last two outings, and four of its last five.
 
Serena LeDuff paces the squad on offense with 3.64 kills per set, while Taylor Reaume is dishing out 10.09 assists per set.
 
The defense is led by Hannah Rice's 5.46 digs per set, while Ali O'Banion has 48 total blocks.
 
UAM enters at 8-12 overall and 1-8 in GAC play with a win in its last match snapping a four-match losing skid in league play.
 
Caroline Gasparini leads the offense with 2.75 kps, while Alissya Theis is dishing out 7.49 apg.
 
On defense Kaila Kikugawa is posting a team-high 3.77 dps, while Kya Standford has 52 total blocks.
