LAWTON, Okla. – No. 41-ranked Southeastern pulled off one of its biggest wins in recent seasons when it traveled to Lawton, Okla., and downed No. 19 Cameron on its home court in a commanding 7-2 fashion.

The match was originally supposed to be played in Durant, but weather forced a change of venue as well as cancelled one other home match for the Savage Storm as well as its scheduled weekend action.

The win is the fourth-straight for the team and lifts them to 4-0 on the season.

The day got off to an ideal start as the Savage Storm swept doubles play, beginning with an 8-4 win by
Alberto Blesa and
Tiago Ferreira at number one.

Maxim Fil and
Jack Gibbens continued the streak at number two with an 8-6 win, while
Paul Nguyen and
Billy Haugen rounded out the sweep with an 8-3 win at number three.

Blesa kept the streak alive in singles play by surviving a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 match at number one to stretch the score to 4-0.

Fil would clinch the match with a 6-4, 7-5 win at number two to open up a 5-0 lead.

SE was not finished though as Ferreira cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 win at number three while Gibbens picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win at number four to push the Storm to the 7-2 victory.
