ADA, Okla. - Southeastern bounced back from a 2-1 loss in doubles play to rally for a hard-fought 5-4 win over rival East Central on Tuesday in Ada, Okla.

The win counts regionally but not for Great American conference play and lifts the Savage Storm to 5-0 on the year heading into action against Laredo CC, Lady of the Lake and St. Mary's over a March 5-7 trip to San Antonio, Texas.

Alberto Blesa and
Tiago Ferreira picked up SE's only win in doubles play with an 8-3 victory at number one doubles.

The Storm would fall at numbers two and three though and trailed heading into singles play 2-1.

The Tigers would push their lead to 3-1 with a three-set win over Blesa at number one singles, but
Maxim Fil answered with a 7-5, 6-4 win at number two to cut the deficit to 3-2.

ECU would add a win at number three singles for a 4-2 edge, but
Jack Gibbens would kick off the rally with an answer at number four singles and a dramatic 7-6, 7-6 win.

Petar Popovic would even the score at 4-4 after bouncing back from a second set los for a 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 win at number five singles.

Joaquin Aguilera would complete the comeback and clinch the SE victory by picking up a straight-set win at number six by a 6-4, 6-2 score.
