BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Southeastern used a three-match sweep of doubles play to take an early lead and never looked back en route to a 6-0 win over Harding in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Tournament on Friday afternoon in Bentonville, Ark.

The win is the team's 18th on the season and moves them into a championship showdown with Ouachita Baptist who handed East Central a 5-1 defeat in the other semifinal.

The Savage Storm will play for the GAC title on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The duo of
Paul Nguyen and
Petar Popovic got SE on the board with an 8-2 win at number three doubles.

Maxim Fil and
Tiago Ferreira followed suit with an 8-2 win at one doubles, before
Alberto Blesa and
Jack Gibbens survived the tightest doubles match of the contest with a 9-7 win at number two.

Joaquin Aguillera pushed the Storm lead to 4-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number six singles.

It was Blesa who would clinch the win for SE at number two when he cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Popovic would round out scoring with a 6-1, 6-1 win at number five.
