DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out in search of its second-straight Great American Conference win when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State on Sept. 29 in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 3-11 record overall and a 1-2 mark in GAC play, while the Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-4 record on the year and a 3-0 conference record.
SE is coming off a 3-1 loss at the hands of Texas A&M-Commerce on the road, but a day prior to that picked up its first conference win in a dominating 3-0 defeat of rival East Central.
Abby Jameson leads the Storm attack with 3.71 kills per set, while
Julia Benford is next up at 2.58 kps and a trio of hitters have at least one per set.
Alissa Benson guides the offense form the setter position while averaging 8.85 assists per set and coming off a week in which she averaged nearly 11 per set.
The defense is paced along the back row by
Charlene Nerio who is picking up 4.02 digs per set, while
Arianna Baker and Benford patrol the net with 29 and 28 total blocks, respectively.
Carly Zak leads the SWOSU attack with 4.06 kills per set, while Kayla Hebert is dishing out 9.68 assists per set.
On defense Kaila Lancaster is turning in 5.21 digs per set, while Paige Holt has 30 total blocks on the year.
