DURANT, Okla. – The Southeastern softball team volunteered at Families Feeding Families last week as they served meals to those in need in Bryan County.
Families Feeding Families is a division of the Families Feeding Hope Foundation nonprofit 501c3 charity. They act as a working kitchen providing daily hot meals and also act as a clearinghouse through which the food industry and community may donate food and other goods. They strive to provide nourishment for the physical hunger people experience.
"The team was really eager to help the community through Families Feeding Families, which is a nonprofit organization. We appreciate every opportunity that we can contribute to our community and giving back to others, " said softball head coach

The Families Feeding Families Kitchen is located at the George Washington School, 314 East Main in Durant, Oklahoma. It is open for supper between the hours of 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. There is a different menu including a main course and a vegetable or two, bread and desserts or cookies and drinks each evening. There is no charge for these nutritious meals.
