SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern was stung by errors as it fell to Harding 3-0 on Saturday to wrap up its two-game central Arkansas road swing in Searcy, Ark.

The loss dropped the Savage Storm to 8-11 overall and 1-6 in Great American Conference play as they return home for a two-game home stand on Oct. 14-15 against Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State.

Abby Jameson and
Julia Benford had 10 kills each to account for 20 of the team's 37 kills.

However the Storm combined for 26 errors on the match while matching the Bisons in kills at 37 apiece.

Alissa Benson turned in 27 assists with a pair of kills, eight digs and a block.

Caitlin Cosby again paced the defense with 15 digs on the back row while Jameson added 11.

Arianna Baker would add three of the teams four total blocks.

After falling behind 7-1 in the first set SE would rally to close to 23-22, but HU would snag the final two points for a 25-22 win.

An 8-2 Harding run midway through the second set put the Storm in a five point hole they were unable to claw out of in a 25-16 loss.

A bad start doomed SE in the final set as they fell behind 11-3 out of the gate and never recovered in a 25-10 loss.
