SE Set for Senior Day Versus UAM

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to send its seniors out with a victory in their final home game at Paul Laird Field while also securing a winning season when it hosts Arkansas-Monticello on Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 5-4 record overall and in Great American Conference play and are in a three-way tie for fourth in the league standings.
 
SE will also be looking for its third-straight winning season which would become the longest stretch of winning seasons since five-straight from 2002-2006.
 
The Storm running game took a hit last week, but has still compiled 1,997 yards as a team with Devlon Wortham and Ronnie Green on the cusp of becoming just the second backfield duo to run for 1,000 yards in the same season, and would be the first sucj pair to do so in the GAC.
 
Wortham comes into the final two games with 949 yards and 13 touchdowns, while Green is at 929 with seven scores.
 
The only other time it has happened in SE history was during the 1999 season with Scotty Martin and Johnny McHenry.
 
Through the air CB Cantwell is completing 83.8 percent of his passes for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns.
 
Kaymon Farmer has remained his favorite target with 39 catches for 488 yards and six touchdowns, while Bryce Steele has tallied 33 receptions for 434 yards and five scores.
 
Defensively, Kevon Jones and Rod Gardner are coming off of double-digit tackle outings a week ago, the first two such outings of the season for the Storm.
 
Jones has moved into the lead on the SE defense with 43 tackles, while Raheem Wilson is right behind at 42.
 
Trent Hannah bumped his sack total to 4.5 on the year with a team-best 8,5 tackles for loss, while Wilson has four interceptions and is among the nation's leaders in pass breakups with 15 on the season.
 
UAM comes to town with a 4-5 record on the season and fresh off a win over East Central.
 
They do their damage through the air where Cole Sears has completed 56.4 percent of his passes for 2,285 yards and 19 touchdowns.
 
His top target has been Jalen Tolliver who has logged 59 catches for 922 yards and 12 scores.
 
Imani Riley leads the rushing attack with 453 yards, while Jeremy Jackson and Sears each have four rushing touchdowns.
 
Stacy Warren leads the defense with 49 tackles on the year, while Ja'lon Watts has picked up 3.5 sacks.
 
Lloyd Robinson has a pair of interceptions as well as a pair of fumble recoveries.
