BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern took a 2-1 lead after doubles and never looked back in a 5-1 win over Harding on its way to earning a berth in the Great American Conference Tournament Championship Match set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The Savage Storm move to 14-2 on the season and will face rival East Central who pulled off a surprising 5-4 upset of top-seeded Ouachita Baptist in the semifinals on Friday.

SE opened the match with an 8-2 win in the three doubles spot by Petar Popovic and Mislav Colak for a 1-0 lead.

HU answered with an 8-2 win at one doubles, but Netanel Alcabas and Alberto Blesa pulled out an 8-6 win at two doubles to stake the Storm to a 2-1 lead heading to singles.

Alcabas wasted little time stretching the lead to 3-1 after running to a straight-set 6-2, 6-1 win over Adrian Torrico at two singles.

He was followed up by Tiago Ferreira at the six spot who also picked up a straight-sets win, this one going 6-3, 6-2 over Chase Stumne for a 4-1 advantage.

Colak would round out the match with the clinching point after picking up a 6-3, 6-4 win over Brandon Hogland in the five position.

The remaining matches were left unfinished with SE leading two of the three with first set wins.
