Box Score ADA, Okla. – Southeastern's offensive attack never got going as the Savage Storm dropped its first Great American Conference road matchup of the season to rival East Central 3-0 on Thursday night in Ada, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 7-7 overall on the season and 0-2 in GAC play heading into a Saturday matchup with Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m.

Arianna Baker led the way with seven kills, while
Erika Costain and
Abby Jameson were next in line with four each.
Â
Jameson also added a pair of aces, while
Alissa Benson dished out 20 assists and added an ace, a kill and three digs.

Defensively
Caitlin Cosby logged 15 digs to lead all defenders in the match, while Costain and
Caitlyn Mills each had eight.

Baker and Jameson each had a block.

The Storm scored the first two points of the match, and were tied 4-4 when the Tigers put together a 7-0 run which would ultimately turn into a 21-4 run over the remainder of the set as SE fell 25-8.

Southeastern again went in front early, going up 3-1, but ECU would score four-straight points and the Storm would spend the rest of the match playing catch up before falling 25-19.

The final set was tight early as again SE jumped ahead out of the gate, but a 7-0 run would put the Storm in a 10-5 hole and they would never recover in a 25-15 loss in the match clinching set.
