Southeastern Returns Home to Host Bisons

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern looks to get back in the win column on Saturday when it returns home to host Harding at 2 p.m. at Paul Laird Field.

The Savage Storm has dropped two-straight and slipped into a four-way tie for the top spot in the Great American Conference standings.
 
Saturday will be the 29^th meeting between the two programs who have been conference rivals in both the GAC and the Lone Star Conference at times in their histories.
 
The Bisons own the series record advantage by a 21-7 edge and have won six in-a-row.
 
The Storm comes into the weekend still averaging more than 30 points per game at 32.6 and putting up over 400 yards of total offense.
 
Austin Skinner leads the SE passing attack with 846 yards after taking over the starting role with five touchdowns.
 
Jaylen Sims has stepped into the role of top target and has hauled in 32 receptions for 440 yards and three scores, while Codey McElroy has a team-high five touchdown catches.
 
Rashod Polk leads the rushing attack with 566 yards and six touchdowns on 108 carries.
 
Hunter Powell and Troy Parker lead the defense with 50 tackles each, while Larry Bridges has picked off three passes.
 
Harding comes to town with a 5-3 record and winners of five-straight while averaging 34.9 ppg.
 
The Bisons provide nearly all of their offense on the ground where they average 333.0 yards per game rushing, led by Cole Chancy's 611 yards, while Terrence Dingle has 11 rushing scores.
 
Sam Blankenship leads the HU defense with 73 tackles, while Devyn Comer has 4.5 sacks and V'Onte Williams has snagged three picks.
