DURANT, Okla. – No. 19 Southeastern closed out the weekend with a 7-2 victory over Collin County on Saturday to bounce back from an earlier 6-3 loss to No. 26 Western New Mexico at the Southeastern tennis Complex.

The Savage Storm suffered its first consecutive losses of the season but still improve to 8-4 on the year with a trio of top-25 wins heading into a March 29 matchup against Cameron at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

Against CCCC SE bounced back from a loss at one doubles to see
Netanel Alcabas and
Kelian Bouteiller even the score with an 8-3 win at two doubles.

Mislav Colak and
Petar Popovic would then give the Storm a 2-1 lead after doubles by earning a 9-7 win at the three position.

Alberto Blesa got things started in singles play at the one position by gutting out a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win to make it 3-1.

Alcabas followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win at two singles, stretching the lead to 4-1.

Bouteiller would follow suit with a 6-2, 2-6, 11-9 match-clinching win at number three.

Colak followed up with a 6-1, 6-3 win at number four and
Guillermo Pardos added a 6-3, 6-1 win at number five before CCCC would swipe the final match at number six to make the final 7-2 in favor of the Storm.

On Thursday against WNMU the Storm found itself in a rare 2-1 hole after doubles play, with Colak and Popovic picking up the lone doubles win, taking the three position 9-8 (5).

Blesa would follow by evening the match with a 6-7 (4), 7-5, 13-11 win at the one position.

Pardos would add a win at the number six spot by a 6-2, 6-4 margin, however, WNMU would win spots two through five to hand SE a 6-3 loss.
