KEARNEY, Neb. – Southeastern closed out its trip to Kearney, Neb., with a pair of tough losses on Saturday, falling to Texas A&M-Kingsville 3-0 before dropping the weekend finale against No. 25 Rockhurst 3-0.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 3-5 with the GAC/MIAA Crossover on the horizon Sept. 14-15.

In the day's opener with the Javelinas, SE forced bonus volleyball in the first set before falling 33-31 and were unable to maintain that push into the second, falling 25-16 before dropping the final set 25-20.

Abby Jameson led the offense with 16 kills while hitting .323, with Airanna Baker next in line with seven kills.

Alissa Benson dished out 24 assists and added three kills, while defensively adding three blocks and seven digs.

Caitlin Cosby paced the defense with 15 digs, while
Caroline Griffith matched Benson's three blocks.

Against No. 25 Rockhurst the Storm had a tough time getting the offense moving, falling 25-12 in the first set and 25-15 in the second and third sets.

Jameson's nine kills led the offense, with Benson handing out 19 assists.

Cosby led the defense with 11 digs with Benson leading the way at the net with two blocks.
