ALVA, Okla. – Southeastern's offense never caught traction and the Savage Storm opened its two-match road trip weekend with a 3-0 loss at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Friday night in Alva, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 5-11 on the season and 1-3 in Great American Conference play heading into a 3 p.m. matchup at Southern Nazarene on Saturday in Bethany, Okla.

Abby Jameson led the offense with 11 kills, however
Arianna Baker was next in line with five and the Storm finished with 26 compared to the Rangers' 49.

Jodi Dixon dished out 25 assists in the effort and added a pair of digs.

Jameson led the charge on defense as well with seven digs, while
Grace Shehadeh and
Kristi Carter added six each and
Caitlin Cosby finished with five.

The Storm dropped the opening set 25-15, and followed it up on the short end of a 25-18 score before falling 25-17 in the final set.
