BETHANY, Okla. – Despite a trio of hitters with double-digit kill outings, Southeastern found itself on the short end of a 3-1 final score against Southern Nazarene on Saturday afternoon in Bethany, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 5-12 overall on the year and 1-4 in Great American Conference play.

Taylor Robinson led the Storm offense with a 14 kill effort while hitting .324 in the match, with
Arianna Baker and
Abby Jameson added 11 kills each.

Jodi Dixon triggered the offense with 42 assists and on defense added nine digs and a p[air of blocks.

Caitlin Cosby led the defense with 22 digs to lead all defenders, while Jameson completed a double-double with 19 digs. Robinson also finished with a double-double by adding 10 digs and
Kristi Carter chipped in 10.

Caroline Griffith led the net defense with four blocks, two of them solo, while
Hannah Grant and Baker chipped in three each.

Southeastern dropped the opening set 25-23, but bounced back strong and scored a 25-19 win in the second frame to even the match at 1-1.

SNU would respond and swipe another narrow 25-23 win in set three and the Storm was unable to wrench the momentum back in a 25-21 loss in the fourth set and a 3-1 loss in the match.
