BETHANY, Okla. – Errors left the Southeastern offense spinning its wheels in a 3-0 loss on Thursday night to Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 7-18 overall and 3-10 in Great American Conference play heading into a key Friday night matchup with Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Okla., at 6 p.m., a match that will be pivotal in earning the eighth seed in the GAC postseason tournament.

Abby Jameson paced the offense for SE with nine kills, while
Arianna Baker and
Hannah Grant were right behind with six kills each.

Sydney Meget turned in 30 assists in the match while chipping in nine digs on the defensive side of play.

That defense was paced by
Caitlin Cosby who registered 14 digs, while Meget was next in line with nine, followed by
Grace Shehadeh with eight.

At the net,
Caroline Griffith led the defense with two blocks.

In the opening set, SNU jumped ahead early and the Storm was unable to rally as the Crimson Storm took the set 25-15.

After getting off to a second slow start, Southeastern recovered and rallied to take the lead at 23-22, however it would drop the final three points to fall behind 2-0 with a 25-23 loss in set two.

SNU used a pair of runs in the first half of set three and the Storm never recovered, dropping the final set 25-14.
