DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern held a 10-kill advantage offensively for the match, but errors proved costly as the Savage Storm fell to Ouachita Baptist 3-0 on Friday night in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The loss drops SE to 6-14 overall and 2-6 in Great American Conference play heading into a 2 p.m. matchup on Saturday afternoon with Henderson State, also in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

Abby Jameson led the way offensively for the Storm with 12 kills, while Arianna baker was right behind her with 11 while hitting .400 on the night.

Sydney Meget led all setters in the match with 36 assists despite splitting time, while
Jodi Dixon added eight. Meget also added a kill and an ace while chipping in seven digs.

Caitlin Cosby led all defenders on the contest with 16 digs, while
Taylor Robinson posted double-figures with 10.

Southeastern got off to a solid start and led late in the first set before a 5-1 Tiger run flipped the score late in a 25-23 win for OBU.

In the second set the Storm rallied from a seven-point deficit to close to get within 21-18 late but were unable to close out the rally in a 25-19 loss to fall behind 2-0.

SE found itself playing from behind for the third set, but looked to rally late with a 5-1 run, but OBU would score the final two points of the set to take it 25-20 and the match 3-0.
