DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set course for Arkansas on Saturday set to take on Southern Arkansas at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 in Magnolia, Ark.

SE will be facing Southern Arkansas for the 44
th time in school history, with the Mulerider owning a slight edge in the series record at 22-18-3, while the Storm are currently on a one-game winning streak.

Southeastern will be aiming to bounce back after a tough loss in its last outing, one in which the defense held Arkansas-Monticello to 205 yards of total offense in a 9-7 loss.

The Storm defense was its biggest highlight a week ago and will be aiming to repeat its performance against SAU from a season ago.

It was the defense that held the then No. 15 Mulerider scoreless on the day in a 21-0 victory.

Against UAM this past Saturday the Storm was down four regular starters but saw
Josh Mulumba step up with 12 tackles and an interception, while
Ja'Lon Freeman and
Scooter Baker each logged 10 stops in the effort.

The Southeastern offense has picked up the pace on the ground over the past two outings, lifting its per game average to 124.7 ypg, led by
Rashod Polk who has 199 yards over those two games and two touchdowns.

Rollin Kinsaul leads the passing attack with 951 yards and five touchdowns while completing 57.1 percent of his passes.

Felton Hatcher leads the receiving corps with 33 catches and 384 yards, while
Braxton Kincade has 344 yards and three scores on 23 catches,
Katrell Blakely has 276 yards on 27 grabs, and
Duce Pittman has 20 catches for 257 yards.

SAU comes into the weekend with a 5-1 record on the year and has won three in-a-row.

The Mulerider offense leans on its ground game with Kor'Davion Washington averaging 100.8 yards per game with four touchdowns, while Hayden Mallory is completing 63.2 percent of his passes for 965 yards and eight touchdowns.

The top Mulerider target through the air has been Jared Lancaster who has 281 yards on 16 catches with four touchdowns.

Brock Floyd leads the SAU defense with 32 tackles, while Antonio Washington has logged 3.0 sacks.
