DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball will take a step out of Great American Conference play to rekindle an old Lone Star Conference rivalry when it heads to Commerce, Texas, to take on No. 25 Texas A&M-Commerce at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22.

The Savage Storm is chomping at the bit to snap its current losing streak and has won at least a set in seven of its last five matches, including a trio of five-set heartbreakers.

SE is returning from its first Arkansas road swing of the season where
Aleksandra Rodic and
Malaysia Burns took turns leading the Storm offense.

Rodic turned in a season-high 17 kills in the effort against Henderson State, while Burns led a group of four players to reach double-digits in kills against Ouachita Baptist, finishing with 15.

Hannah Grant paces the squad for the season with 2.46 kills per set, followed by Burns at 2.38, while
Caroline Griffith and Rodic are right behind at 3.31 kps.

Arabella Bouchard went over 30 assists in each of her last two matches, handing out a season-high 40 against OBU. On the year she is averaging 8.15 assists per set.

Defensively,
Caitlin Cosby hit the 30 dig mark for the third time this season and lifted her season average to 5.28 digs per set and bringing her career dig total to 2,245, just 114 digs behind second place on the GAC's all-time list.

Burns leads the team's defensive effort at the net with 37 blocks on the year, while Griffith is next in line with 29.

The Lions are led on offense by Shelley Chapron and Sydney Anderson who are each averaging 3.00 kills per set, while Celeste Vela is handing out 6.95 assists per set.

Chapron leads the TAMUC defense with 94 total blocks on the season, while Savannah Rutledge patrols the back row with 3.96 digs per set.
