SE Volleyball Hosts SAU, UAM

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to take on its last two Arkansas schools of the season when it hosts Southern Arkansas at 5 p.m. on Oct. 25 and Arkansas-Monticello at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Storm return home after a three-match road swing has kept them on the road for nearly two weeks.
 
SE is led on offense this season by Hannah Grant who is averaging 2.40 kills per set, while Malaysia Burns is right on her heels at 2.36 per set.
 
Aleksandra Rodic and Caroline Griffith trail immediately behind with 2.33 and 2.30 kills per set, respectively.
 
Arabella Bouchard is dishing out a team-best 8.14 assists per set on the year while also chipping in 2.19 digs per set on defense.
 
The defense is led by Caitlin Cosby's 5.19 digs per set, while Burns and Griffith pace the club at the net with 38 and 31 total blocks, respectively.
 
The Muleriders come to town on a 14-match losing streak with a 2-18 record overall and an 0-9 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
SAU is led by Seven Powers who averages 2.96 kills per set, while Morgan Schuster is dishing out 8.90 assists per set.
 
Defensively, the Muleriders are led by Alana Perez on the back row with 4.06 digs per set, while Bailey Cagle and Abby Bermudez lead the way at the net with 41 blocks each.
 
UAM comes to town with a 7-15 mark overall and a 2-7 record in GAC play.
 
The Cotton Blossoms are led on offense by Leslie Polanco with 3.23 kills per set, while Katie Pearson is handing out a team-best 8.86 assists per set.
 
Jessica Mahan leads the UAM defense with 4.79 digs per set while Zealia Kleitz has a team-high 64 total blocks.
