Caroline Griffith posted 10 kills and hit a team-high .476 but it was not enough to lift Southeastern in a 3-0 loss on Thursday night in Alva, Okla.

The Savage Storm slip to 2-21 on the year overall and 1-11 in Great American Conference play heading into a 6 p.m. Nov. 1 matchup with Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday.

Griffith connected on 10 kills with no errors in 21 attempts to lead the SE offense, while
Hannah Grant,
Aleksandra Rodic, and
McKenzie Turkoly each finished with seven.

Arabella Bouchard dished out 32 assists on the match and added a kill and four digs in the effort.
Â
Caitlin Cosby and Rodic led the back row defense with 12 digs each, while
Malaysia Burns, Griffith, Grant, and Turkoly each had a block.

In the opening set the Storm rallied with a 7-1 run to take a 21-20 lead late, but NWOSU would close out he set with five of the final six points to swipe set one 25-22.

SE used another late rally in set two, this one to close to a 21-20 deficit, but the Rangers would again finish on a run, scoring the final four points to take the set 25-20.

Southeastern opened with the lead in the third set, but NWOSU would use a 7-2 run to mount a 19-13 lead.

The Storm would chip away and close the gap to 23-21, but was unable to complete the rally with a 25-22 loss in the final set.
