WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the back-end of its two-game road swing with a 3-0 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday evening in Weatherford, Okla.

The Savage Storm will finish out the season with three of their final four contests at home, including the final non-conference matchup slated for Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. against Tarleton State in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Aleksandra Rodic led the SE offense with nine kills, while Malaysia Burns added eight and Hannah Grant chipped in seven.

Arabella Bouchard handed out 17 assists and added four digs on defense.

Caitlin Cosby led the defense with 11 digs which lifted her career total to 2,312 digs, leaving her 47 away from second on the Great American Conference career digs list.

Grace Shehadeh followed up with eight digs, while Jodi Dixon and Micah Stiggers posted six apiece.

Caroline Griffith logged two blocks, including one solo.

SWOSU jumped ahead early in set one and the Storm found itself playing catch up as the Bulldogs pulled away with a 25-13 win in the set.

A 5-0 run early in set two would give SE a 5-2 lead after a Stiggers ace.

The Storm would hold onto its lead until a 9-3 SWOSU run put Southeastern in a four-point deficit en route to a 25-20 loss in set two.

The Bulldogs opened the third set with five-straight points as part of a 10-2 run and SE never recovered in a 25-16 loss in the final set.
